Eltham-RailwayJourney  along scenic country lanes and call into some of our quaint villages or old country pubs for a lazy lunch and enjoy  hospitality at its best. See some of our historical sites.  Drive along our scenic coastal roads – Brunswick Head, Byron Bay, Lennox Head, Ballina and Evans Head – all within a 45 minute drive from Pines on the Plateau.

Markets, Markets and More Markets!

The ever popular, interesting and eclectic Car Boot Market at the all-weather venue of the Lismore Shopping Square is conducted on the first and third Sunday of the month and the Plateau Market, Alstonville on the second Sunday of the month as well as The Channon Market. Ballina markets are conducted on the third Sunday each month. There is a market somewhere close by each and every weekend.  Be entertained by the performers.

 

Still looking for something to do?

Horse riding, visit the Crystal Castle, Macadamia Castle, 41816402-fishing-on-a-calm-river-in-the-morning[1]visit Ballina Naval and Maritime Museum, Thursday Plantation, go fishing, Ten Pin Bowling, play golf.  You may have a different interest – just ask and we will help you.
