Easter here on the Far North Coast of NSW always brings to mind the Blues Festival which is held in the Byron Bay area. The festival is now over for another year and has been rated as one of the very best – helped by the beautiful sunny weather and no rain! The festival always brings many visitors and boosts tourism all over the area.

Being close to Byron Bay we were fully booked for the event with guests from Bundaberg and Sydney. All were first-timers at the Festival and were very happy with the bands playing but were grateful to come back to Pines on the Plateau for its peaceful setting.

Autumn is here and the tibouchinas, so synonymous with this area, are in full bloom and making a spectacular display. The tibouchina photographed is one in my garden.

Thinking of a winter break? We will be offering a Winter Time Special. Click here to catch the deal.
