The Annual Ballina Fine Wine and Food Festival is just around the corner and so many people have already purchased the tickets for their chosen events.

Events

This year three different events will be conducted over 3 days – Friday 1st through to Sunday 3rd July – at different locations.  The event presents a mix of local fresh produce and products and restaurants that this north coast area offers together with wines, craft beer, etc.  sought from other areas.

Entertainment

Rachel BeckEntertainment has been booked for the events including our own locally born TV star and stage performer, Rachael Beck.  Other performers include Michael Cormick and David Cameron, pianist together with The Heart Collectors and Jed Zarb.

They will perform on Friday evening and on Sunday.

 

 

Taste of Ballina Gala Dinner

Fine DiningOn Friday evening the ‘Taste of Ballina Gala Dinner’ will be held at the Ballina RSL Club.  The evening will feature fresh local produce under the guidance of executive chef, Blake Seymour together wines and craft beers.

 

 

 

Flavours of Northern Rivers Gourmet Tour

For the second year, bus tours are being offered to showcase the very best that this area can offer.  Those participating in the tours will see first-hand what it takes to create the produce synonymous with this rich red soil that the area has. Places to visit will include an avocado farm, a coffee plantation and witness how sourdough bread is prepared and also a local brewery will finish the tour.

The Main Event

DeomonstrationThe main day of the Festival is on Sunday 3rd July held at the Ballina Jockey Club.  The day will feature exhibitors, information sessions, demonstrations and entertainment.
Entry to the festival is for adults (over 18 years only). Buses will be running from various locations around the region.  More information can be found on the website ballinafinewineandfoodfestival.com.au .
